Up for sale is a very nice Gibson Les Paul GoldTop "R7" Historic Collection electric guitar.
This Gibson instrument is in overall very good condition with some minor signs of visible wear. Some pickguard scratches/swirls from pick playing. Some smudges and oxidation on hardware (bridge, pickups) from natural aging. Light scratches top/side/back body from normal play. Standard tone caps upgraded to NOS tone caps. Much more smoother and warmer sounding tone now. Nice tasteful upgrade. Other than the caps - This Gibson guitar is ALL ORIGINAL. NO MODIFICATIONS. NO HEADSTOCK CRACK.
The Gibson Custom Shop Historic Releases are pretty much one of the closest Gibsons models you can get that closest to the vintage specs. They try to best to make an identical version of the original 57' Gibson Les Pauls but with using modern technology. Honestly.. this guitar sounds incredible and feels incredible on your hands.
This Les Paul guitar just feels very solid in general. This includes the body, neck and tuners. Everything feels very solid and stable and high quality. Standard 57' style Gibson neck profile with a nice beefier profile. Neck feels very good on your hands especially when your gripping chords in the middle of the neck. This is a perfect guitar for professional players who want to record or gig with a high quality and reliable electric guitar.

The Wood grains on back of body and neck looks INCREDIBLE. Very solid, thick and visible wood grains running straight from top to bottom of body.
Overall, this Custom Shop reissue nails the ’57 Goldtop vibe with authentic specs and build quality. If you want deep tone, vintage mojo, and heavyweight quality wrapped in a classic Goldtop, this R7 hits hard in my opinion.
