Up for sale is an excellent condition Gibson MIDTOWN KALAMAZOO in 3-TONE Sunburst finish.

This Gibson instrument is in overall excellent condition with some small signs of visible wear. Some minor pickguard scratches/swirls from pick playing. Some smudges and light oxidation on golden hardware (bridge, pickups) from natural aging. Light scratches top/side/back body from normal play. Binding color has changed a bit from natural white to very nice vintage beige.

This Gibson MIDTOWN KALAMAZOO is ALL ORIGINAL. NO MODIFICATIONS. NO HEADSTOCK CRACK.

Very unique and interesting guitar overall. It's pretty much a Gibson Byrdland Jr with a slightly modern twist and upgrades. Classic 1957 Pickups with a maple top + mahogany body combo. Very nicely carved out Rosewood fretboard - neck profile feels very nice and comfortable on your hands. Great neck profile for fingerstyle and strummers. Also has the Gibson ES-165 style tailpiece for extra elegance in looks.

This Gibson Midtown Kalamazoo guitar just feels very solid in general. This includes the body, neck and tuners. Everything feels very solid and stable and high quality. Gibson Byrdland neck profile with GOLD GROVER LOCKING TUNERS. Very nice and solid tuners which is a great overall touch to the guitar.

Also has PUSH-PULL feature on both tone knobs to give you even more unique sounding tones. Very subtle and underrated feature of this guitar in my opinion. You can literally play soft jazz, blues and clean style music - and also transition to very high gain / distortion type sounding tones with this guitar. Extremely versatile and can cover multiple musical genres.

One of my favorite features is the Gibson "FLOWER POT" LOGO on the middle of headstock. Gibson has only done the Flower Pot logo on the extremely higher end models (Byrdland, L5-S). Gold Grover tuners that feel incredibly SOLID and stays in tune excellent. Solid pearl block inlays starting from the 1st FRET just like any higher end Gibson models (LP Custom, ES-355, etc).

The Wood grains on back of body and neck looks INCREDIBLE. Very solid, thick and visible wood grains running straight from top to bottom of body.

Overall, this is a VERY HIGH QUALITY instrument. The guitar looks good but playability is even better. Perfect for intermediate/professional level guitarists + collectors.
